There is 1 more piece of Armor of God that I would like to talk about.I know we’re not to add anything to The Word, and I’m not.But what I AM doing is suggesting that with the personal suit of armor that God has given us that consists of;• Truth• Righteousness• Peace• Salvation• Faith &• The WordThat we add to thatthe• Codpiece of PURITY.For all time, but now especially since the advent of the internet, men and women both are falling hard to– Lust,– Infidelity,– Promiscuity,– Homosexuality, as well as a this newest trend of– Sexual Identity.Sexual immorality is often the first sin mentioned (1 Thessalonians 4:3-5, Hebrews 13:4, 1 Corinthians 6:13, Galatians 5:19, Ephesians 5:13), and Christians need the safety & security that only the Holy Spirit can give. If men actually had a real codpiece on (OR a Chastity Belt, if you are a woman), that safety gear would remind everyone to be obedient every time they looked at it. Plus it would take quite some time to remove it if we were thinking of disobedience. That would mean they would rarely take it off, given the effort it would take to remove, but even if that effort seemed worth it, it would still demand time to contemplate that action. So let us imagine ourselves with one additional tool in our Armor of God, an angelic apparatus to help remove the condemnation of lust, by convicting us to remain pure by His Holy Spirit.
