From the Toddler to the Teacher;
From the Preacher to the Presidency;
Proverbs 26 reminds us that the human condition is sinful.
Can you SEE that sin in a person, just by looking at the them?
Sadly, no.
They can ‘look’ so, little and cute,
They can sound reliable or professional.
The may even seem learned and holy.
And we see today, they can ‘appear’ honest and honorable…
– But –
We all need to thank the Lord, in advance, (as we pray) for the discernment to KNOW the truth in others.
Why?
Because;
• The toddler will say he didn’t steal the cookie.
• The teacher will say they care for your child, but really has malice against parents and wants to indoctrinate their own ideology.
• The preacher will sound holy, but from the pulpit, he will teach a doctrine NOT of The Word.
• The president will make promises to satisfy the country’s needs, but break them as he satisfies all the needs of his donors and all his concealed ideologies first.
But most importantly Christian;
That we are able to discern the truth is good, but that we LIVE the truth…
That way, GOD will save us from harboring any deceit in our hearts.
