Proverbs 25 is what God wants to do in us,
But…
It is also what we have a hard time ‘letting’ God do FOR us.
   – Dross (definition):
Something regarded as worthless; rubbish.
It takes the heat of the fire to get that dross to bubble to the surface.
It is at that point that the silversmith scrapes the dross off so the metal is pure enough to mold into shape.
But sadly,
Too many Christians hate the discomfort of being so close to the fire of God’s judgement.
&
Too many Christians hate the scraping off of the behaviors and attitudes that seperate us from HIM.
Like re-breaking a recently broken bone so it will heal correctly,
God will never make HIS heat of judgement too hot to harm us.
We need to remember that, so we can ‘LET’ GOD remove our dross.
So we can let HIM mold us into the shape HE wants.
