Victory Comes only after Battle
– Everybody wants to live with success, but few want to work hard to get it.
– Everybody wants to live like a winner, but few have the discipline to achieve it.
– Everybody wants to live with peace, but few have the humility to allow it.
– Everybody wants to live in victory, but few realize that;

We are thinking of the battles we have with friends.
We are thinking of the battles we have with family.
We are thinking of the battles we have politically.
We are thinking of the battles we have financially.
But all those are physical battles we KNOW OF and can see.
The Lord tells us the worst battles are the ones we do not even see.
☆ For we do not wrestle against flesh and blood, but against the rulers, against the authorities, against the cosmic powers over this present darkness, against the spiritual forces of evil in the heavenly places.
• Ephesians 6:12
How can you win a battle, you don’t even know you are in?
The Lord tells us that most of the battles we can see, were started long before.
By the enemy of the war that you either don’t know, or forgot, that you were even in!
The Lord tells us that we will have battles.
The Lord tells us to armor up for those battles.
~ But ~
The Lord tells us that the worst battles are NOT OURS TO FIGHT!
☆ Thus says the Lord to you, ‘Do not be afraid and do not be dismayed at this great horde, for the battle is not yours but God’s.
• 2 Chronicles 20:15
Victory comes only after the battle.
Remember,
– God wants us to live in Victory.
– God wants us to let Him fight our battles.
So, we need to do something that is hard for most men.
Give up.
Surrender.
You may be saying;
‘Hold it right there!
That doesn’t make sense. You just said;
God wants us to win battles and live in victory, but then you said give up & surrender.
You can’t have it both ways!
What do you mean?’
I mean;
Surrender to GOD.
Give up, and I mean give it ALL up to HIM.
Let HIM take all your conflicts, battles and skirmishes in your life.
Because only HE can win this war!
For only HE has the right weapons.
☆ For the weapons of our warfare are not of the flesh but have divine power to destroy strongholds.
• 2 Corinthians 10:4
Because God told us to surrender, to not fight in our power, but use the weapons HE has given us;
– If we belt up with HIS Truth
– If we protect our hearts with HIS Righteousness
– If we stand firm in HIS Gospel
– If we protect ourselves with our Faith in Him.
– If we believe in our Salvation though Him.
Then we will
KNOW how to use the sword of the spirit, which is GODS WORD
Because that is what God wants.
God wants us to realize;
Victory comes only after battle.
And God wants us to live as victors.
☆ No, in all these things we are more than conquerors through him who loved us.
• Romans 8:37
So,
Let us thank God for HIS protection.
Let us thank God for HIS provision.
Let us thank God for HIS passion.
Let us thank God for HIS personal desire to have us all live in VICTORY!
So much so, that HE will actually do all the work to give it to us!
But we need to let Him.
We need to remember;
Victory comes only after battle.
But the battle is not ours.
So, that means WE get to have a victory, for a battle we don’t even have to fight!
It is like winning a game we don’t even have to play!
☆ For the Lord your God is HE who goes with you to fight for you against your enemies, to give you the victory.
• Deuteronomy 20:4
So,
– Let us surrender.
– Let us give up.
– Let us not fight.
So we can
– Win the war.
Because God wants us to live as VICTORS!
So, let us give it to God, and then we can know;
Victory comes only after battle.
