Information Source

 

– How do you find the answers to the questions of the day?

– Who do you listen to receive your current news?

– What is your primary information source?

 

 

And today’s global information is severely regulated and the narrative is tightly controlled.

 

But we were told a LONG time ago that it would happen;

 

   ☆ For the time will come when they will not endure sound teaching, but according to their own desires, 

because they have itching ears, they will heap up for themselves teachers telling them what they want to hear

   • 2 Timothy 4:3

 

The world has now placed people in positions of power who, delighting in their own knowledge,

choose to lead nations, states, companies and groups that send out messages

that they want to have the people hear, know and live by.

 

Messages that promote lifestyles that not only accept or promote, but actually CELEBRATE unhealthy and dangerous lifestyle behaviors like;

 

– Pornography

– Sexual Deviancy

– Child Abuse

– Violence

– Control

– Hedonism

– Narcissism 

 

Sadly, Christians can very easily get caught up in the undertow of this wave of messaging.

They have used the best practices in psychology, sociology, communication & advertising

 

 But the real information we need to know today was told to us…a LONG time ago, actually a little over 2500 years ago.

And those who specifically seek it, are now able to really find it.

Because God called for it to be released to exactly those people in the time of the end.

 

   ☆ “But you, Daniel, shut up the words and seal the book, until the time of the end. Many shall run to and fro, and knowledge shall increase.”

   • Daniel 12:4

 

So what is happening, is that the real information, from the real information source, is not only being understood by many people,

and in many cases taught very well,

but it is also being played out right in front of our eyes today.

 

Those who are aware of the Truth, t

Those who use the Bible as their information source,

Are able to see God’s hand in today’s chaos.

 

Too many people in today’s world, have chosen NOT to love God, 

So…God told them; “Fine”.

 

He allows those people to be impressed, distressed and oppressed by the God of this world. 

 

Because of that, they will not see the truth, even if it is right in front of their eyes, because they have made a decision to believe and follow a different information source.

 

   ☆ The god of this world has blinded the minds of the unbelievers, to keep them from seeing the light of the gospel of the glory of Christ, who is the image of God.

   • 2 Corinthians 4:4

 

But God…

 

He has given anyone who, chooses Him, to know HIM.

 

And…He has provided us with the very best information source ever known to mankind to do that.

 

This will be the best information to use for;

 

 

   ☆ All Scripture is breathed out by God and profitable for teaching, for reproof, for correction, and for training in righteousness

   • 2 Timothy 3:16

 

 

A Pharasee was trying to trip up Jesus, and came in and asked a question that he thought could be a problem for Jesus.

But Jesus went to the source.

 

Jesus asked this guy;

 

Because, as Jesus teaches us, that is where the right answers always are.

 

   ☆ The lawyer asked; “What shall I do to inherit eternal life?” 

Jesus said to him, “What is written in the Law? How do you read it?” 

And he answered, “You shall love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your strength and with all your mind, and your neighbor as yourself.” 

And Jesus said to him, “You have answered correctly; do this, and you will live.”

So remember this;

 

What your information source is, is worth your eternal life.

 

So stay away from the fake News, 

And keep your nose in the ‘Eternal Information Source’.
