In the darkest times

Are we living today in the darkest times?
Let’s be clear; with the time of black plague, the time of the inquisition, The Spanish Flu, World War 1, World War 2, Hitler, and all of the individual times within all of the individual countries that have been horrendous (volcanoes, slavery, wars, political unrest) as the world goes today, that is debatable question.

But just 10 years ago, it was NOT debatable. We could have said that we lived in the BEST time of human history.
But things have changed, and now with how close we are to having a 1 world economy, a 1 world government and the synchronicity of biology and technology, some could say we are hurling toward the darkest time.

But one of the biggest clues to me, is how the world has become so ‘ANTI’ Christian.
As the lifestyle and culture of today all over the world has become more secular, it has also become more narcissistic than ever also.
The demand of Christian censorship, the laws passed, the persecution of faith and the violent terrorist attacks against Christians all over the world have increased faster than we could have ever been imagined in the last 3 years, because the world’s culture feels more comfortable in sin, than it does repentance.

 And this is the judgment: the light has come into the world, and people loved the darkness rather than the light because their works were evil. For everyone who does wicked things hates the light and does not come to the light, lest his works should be exposed. But whoever does what is true comes to the light, so that it may be clearly seen that his works have been carried out in God.”
   • John 3:19-21

So, about that question, about if we are living in the darkest times;
We can look around the globe and see that, in small pockets here and there across the world (Nigeria, Venezuela, China etc.), it is very bad, but overall…no…we are NOT living in the darkest times…YET.

But we are hurling towards it FAST.
It appears obvious we will be there soon.

But what does that mean to me today?

It means we need to be examples of the LIGHT.
We need to show those who see us, how to receive that same light that we have.
That way, they can live in that same light, as the darkness envelopes the world.

But how?
Well, we have the blueprint, the instructions, and the example for ourselves!

    Brothers, join in imitating me, and keep your eyes on those who walk according to the example you have in us.
   • Philippians 3:17

So, let us;
– Praise the Lord daily
– Worship the Lord daily
– Read the Word daily
– Pray to the Lord daily
– Hang out with others daily who, like you,
– Love the Lord daily

Those actions and behaviors will change our hearts.
That is not an opinion…that is a fact…period.

This will change us and have us following our Lord daily, and Jesus told us exactly what would happen to us, if we do that;

    Again Jesus spoke to them, saying, “I am the light of the world. Whoever follows me will not walk in darkness, but will have the light of life.”
   • John 8:12

Let us walk in HIS light today, and have HIS light in us right now.
So that when (NOT if) we enter in the darkest times, which will be coming soon,
We will be glowing in The Light, of Our Lord and Savior, to be the guide for so many others out of that darkness!

I love you guys!
