Have you ever felt useless?

Have you ever felt useless at work?

Have you ever felt useless to your spouse?

Have you ever felt useless to your family?

Have you ever felt useless to God?

 

The truth is;

That ‘feeling’ is not true.

You have always had the ability to be of service to and with GOD.

 

Anyone who has surrendered their lives, and given themselves to God, is a changed person.

Anyone who is a changed person, through God, has a testimony to share.

Anyone who has a testimony to share, has the ability, through God, to save souls.

 

So, the person who accepts Christ, right then and right there,

Becomes a person that can be useful to God. 

 

 

For me here, the keyword is;

It doesnt matter who you are.

You are not useless to God.

 

In the books of Timothy 1 & 2, Paul speaks about the youth of Timothy NOT being a stumbling block for him.

Paul was clear about that.

 

   ☆ Don’t let anyone think less of you because you are young. Be an example to all believers in what you say, in the way you live, in your love, your faith, and your purity.

   • 1 Timothy 4:12

 

Timothy may have felt useless to God.

That he didn’t know what to say, or he was too young to show any real authority in his knowledge of the Word.

Paul tells us in this scripture, that it is not our age or our knowledge of the Word that makes us useful.

It is our wisdom, by the living example of the Word that makes us useful.

It is our testimony.

 

   ☆ Do your best to present yourself to God as one approved, a worker who has no need to be ashamed, rightly handling the word of truth.

   • 2 Timothy 2:15

 

We present ourselves to God every moment of every day.

All we do or say is in front of HIM, and all our actions are on display.

When we walk, with the best of our ability, in the Word, we can have an assurance. A confidence. A BOLDNESS.

 

We can live in the security of God’s Word, and the promise of HIS power.

We will not think or feel we are useless to God.

 

And because of that, 

We can take HIS Word, and help others with it.

We can support them, give them that same understanding of GOD’S power.

Help them to KNOW God and to help,them to help others.

We can disciple others, so they can disciple others.

 

   ☆ All Scripture is inspired by God and is useful to teach us what is true and to make us realize what is wrong in our lives. It corrects us when we are wrong and teaches us to do what is right. God uses it to prepare and equip his people to do every good work.

And THAT is the way we will never feel useless to God again.

As a matter of fact, we can humbly realize, we have become most useful:

For HIM,

By HIM,

Through HIM, &

With HIM…

To others.
