SEASONS MAGNIFICATIONS
The season to magnify is upon us.
Whatever you’re feeling, whatever you’re going through, whatever season of your life that you’re going through…it tends to be magnified.
During the Christmas Season;
Those who feel anxiety, feel much more anxious
Those without family, feel much more broken-hearted
Those struggling with drugs or alcohol, fell much more alone
Those who have financial trouble feel much more worthless
Those who have loss in their lives, feel much more depressed.
That is how the SEASONS MAGNIFICATIONS works.
This time of year is where those ‘feelings’ get screwed up.
Those feelings;
They become italicized,
They become emboldened – & –
They become underlined.
They become magnified.
But that is NOT how God wants us.
– God wants us to be alive in HIM.
– God wants us to have our focus on HIM.
– God wants us to have our hope in HIM!
☆ But we do not want you to be uninformed, brothers, about those who are asleep, that you may not grieve as others do who have no hope.
• Thessalonians 4:13
Those are all because the life of that person is ‘SELF-DIRECTED’.
Those are all people who are self consumed with their ‘feelings’.
And sometimes that is understandable, but most times it is not.
It is just being self absorbed.
Selfish.
Narcissistic.
However,
When we focus on the Lord…that never happens.
When we focus on the Lord, we can have a joy that is not ours.
When we focus on the Lord, we can have a peace that’s not ours.
When we focus on the Lord, no matter what goes on around us, to us, or in us…
We can give thanks to God, and when we magnify GOD, we then have THANKS magnified in our lives!
☆ I will praise the name of God with a song; I will magnify him with thanksgiving.

That brings me to the point of this blog today;
If you’re reading this, your likely in the magnifying GOD camp.
You are (hopefully) not self obsessed with your issues and not filled with the hope of God.
So, you may already magnify HIM, you may already be full of,joy, and you may already be filled with HIS peace.
But what about others?
What about those around you who MAY be anxious, depressed, or alone.
Let us be HIS light during this season.
Let us show others how HE is the reason for the
SEASONS MAGNIFICATIONS!
Let us share HIS love, care, mercy, grace, forgiveness, and compassion.
For maybe we may be that healing medicine for those without hope.
Maybe that is how God can use us, to help others, to know HIM.
And then they can pay that forward too!
