God’s Word is Protection for us.
Ok. But from what?When you see this picture where it says:‘In case of emergency, break glass’What comes to YOUR mind? • Global Warfare? • Political Tyranny? • Economic Hardship? • Cultural Indoctrination?I bet one or more of those is probably what came to your mind.However, I believe this verse in Proverbs 30 today we need to break that glass for a different kind of emergency.A more critical and deadly problem that we need HIS protection for. • Pride • Lust • Bitterness • DishonestyThose are more serious emergencies, as they are emergencies that are within us.We need HIM more for souls inside, than we do for our surroundings outside.Because if we take care of our inner emergencies, than HE will have prepared us to handle the outer emergencies.Because those world changing emergency solutions are in a box behind a kind of glass we don’t have the power to break anyway.That is HIS job to handle.Through God, let us just handle ourselves.
