Jackpot Jesus
Too many Christians today live with a ‘Jackpot Jesus‘.
They have a relationship with Jesus like a tourist does with a Vegas casino.
You can watch them praying to Jesus like He is a spiritual slot machine.
Oh please, oh please, oh please; Amen.
Oh, darn. I lost again!
This is very common, and it is an example of a weak hope in God…NOT a faith.
☆ For the love of money is a root of all kinds of evils. It is through this craving that some have wandered away from the faith and pierced themselves with many pangs.

Sadly, too many ‘Health & Wealth’ Ministries have become famous and powerful.
Those messages have gained attention, and many mainstream pulpits, very subtly now, weave in the Jackpot Jesus teaching.
The enemy is a liar.
The enemy wants us to have an incorrect view of God and HIS Word.
The enemy has used this tactic since he lied to Eve, – Because
The enemy has no other intent, but to separate us from God – So
The enemy can divert our attention to things of the world
☆ For all that is in the world—the desires of the flesh and the desires of the eyes and pride of life—is not from the Father but is from the world.

Again, the enemy is just fine with us having a relationship with God, but
Only if it is relationship like a tourist does with a casino, and
What is that kind of relationship with God like?
It is a wishful, hopeful attitude who has an ignorant understanding that
The house, not the tourist, always wins.
The tourist is always hoping to win.
But why?
So the money they win can be used to fulfill fleshly desires.
This Christian has not learned that satan has created staggering odds against them that have been purposefully stacked against anyone winning anything.
☆ You ask and do not receive, because you ask wrongly, to spend it on your passions.

So,
Are you tired of having a life based on roulette righteousness?
A life that that wherever the ball lands that day is how it goes?
Are you finished with having a blackjack belief;
A kind of unsure faith where you are never sure if you should take action or hold?
Because a Casino Christianity is sure to crap out!
Then, the question is this;
How do we go from having a Jackpot Jesus,
To having a Father in heaven who gives generously?
FAITH.

Sorry (Not really sorry) to say it, but it is back to that ‘Die to Self’ thing.
When we seek our desires first, live for our selves, the house always wins, we lose it all.
However, if we seek HIM, and if we live for HIM, we will always win…eternally!
Because with Jesus, the only way to win,
Is not to live like we are playing a game.
For HE is the Everlasting Jackpot Jesus!
☆ But seek first the kingdom of God and his righteousness, and all these things will be added to you.

We don’t need to make a bet, we need to read the Bible.
We don’t need to worry that it’s a long shot, because we put our money on the Lord!
– We will always win in God.
– We will have a wealth we have never known,
– We will have a peace we won’t understand,
– We will have a joy we can’t comprehend.

GOD is NOT a gambler.
The Spirit is NOT a slot machine.
The church is NOT a craps table.
But we can confidently bet on; The Eternal JACKPOT JESUS!
