Your Account is Due

There is no way to sugar coat this.
Like it or not…You HAVE to be accountable.
Because one day, and no one knows what day that will be in their life;
No matter who you are, no matter if your a Christian, or an Athiest,
We will ALL stand at the judgement seat, and God will proclaim;
“Your account is due!”

    For we must all appear before the judgment seat of Christ, so that each one may receive what is due for what he has done in the body, whether good or evil.
   • 2 Corinthians 5:10

– It doesn’t matter who we are.
– It doesn’t matter where we are.
– It doesn’t matter how wealthy we became.
– It doesn’t matter how many things we have done.
– It doesn’t matter how famous we became.

What matters is that we are honest with ourselves.
What matters is that we are accountable today.

Because you’re not going to be able to hide anything.
GOD will be completely eviscerate you, baring everything that we have ever thought, said or done, and when you are standing in front of God, what do you want HIM to see when your account is due?

☆ And no creature is hidden from his sight, but all are naked and exposed to the eyes of him to whom we must give account.
   • Hebrews 4:13

One of the big reasons I write this is because:
So many people are doing what they can to DEMAND OTHERS be accountable.

Too many, even within the church, point fingers at those they don’t like.
Too many, even within the church, are quick to criticize others behaviors.

But that is dangerous.
It keeps one from keeping their own books clean.
More importantly, they won’t be giving those other peoples account when the time comes and their account is due.

God clearly wants us to be accountable
With ourselves,
About ourselves, so we can
Grow ourselves, so we can
HELP others…and NOT to critically judge them.

   ☆ Keep watch on yourself, lest you too be temptedBear one another’s burdens, and so fulfill the law of Christ. For if anyone thinks he is something, when he is nothing, he deceives himself. But let each one test his own work, and then his reason to boast will be in himself alone and not in his neighbor. For each will have to bear his own load.
   • Galatians 6:1-5

So, say your account is due today.
How is it?
Is it balanced?
Do you have wealth?
Are you overdrawn?

If you knew that you had to be accountable to God – TODAY – would you do anything to make sure your account was different than what it is right now?

How much confession do you do?
How much repentance do you do?
How much prayer and meditation do you do?

How many closed mouthed brothers/sisters do you have to practice the accountability you WILL have to answer for when you stand in front of God?

    Therefore, confess your sins to one another and pray for one another, that you may be healed. The prayer of a righteous person has great power as it is working.
   • James 5:16

There will come a time, and you won’t know when, when your account is due.
Would it be better to have cleaned up that account so when God opens up that book, He will see
– your heart,
– your desire,
– your faith,
– your love
– your sacrifice
– your obedience

And say about your account;
“Well done, my good and faithful servant!”

I love you guys!
