What’s YOUR Truth?
We here at Ahavah Ministries have been speaking about the truth a bunch lately, and why you may ask?
It is because the world has created a completely new level of something that they call the ‘truth’ now.
You may have heard this a lot lately; “That’s not MY truth.” Or “That’s just THEIR truth.”, as this is because our culture has taken the truth and converted it into a subjective opinion.
It has become something that is just based on feelings.
It can be customized, unverified, and anyone who disagrees is vilified.
It is not absolute, and can be whatever you want, so, what’s YOUR truth?
Today, because of the fact that so many people love that kind of a subjective lifestyle, there have been so many who teach that from the pulpit today.
That should not surprise us, as we knew that was going to happen, as it has been happening for quite some time;
☆ Watch out for those who cause divisions and create obstacles contrary to the doctrine that you have been taught; avoid them.
For such persons do not serve our Lord Christ, but their own appetites, and by smooth talk and flattery they deceive the hearts of the naïve.
• Romans 16:17-18
The people teaching this way,
are just like the people who love to hear people teaching this way,
and they are people who may not even realize they are moving toward teachings that are a LIE, and are teachings that will never help them to really know God.
What do you think you would hear if you asked a huge group of Pastors about that?
Well, here is exactly what they would say;
- 62% Christian Pastors would say they have a hybrid worldview known as Syncretism
- 41% of senior pastors (28% of associate pastors) would tell you they have a biblical worldview.
- 13% of teaching pastors and 12% of children’s and youth pastors would admit that they have a biblical worldview.
- Only 4% of Executive pastors, would say they have a consistently biblical belief and behavior.
- 29% of mainline pastors say that “the church is too aligned with political conservatism.”
- 8% would say they believed that “the church is too aligned with political liberalism.” (Barna Research 2022)
What does that tell you about the pastors all over the world?
What does that tell you about how they teach more and more OF the world?
What does that tell you about our need to verify them against The WORD

So
– We keep ourselves in The Word.
– We keep ourselves in Prayer.
– We keep ourselves in Meditation.
– We keep ourselves in an expository Bible teaching congregation of healthy, like-minded people who also search the scriptures daily.
Doing that will always have us able to give the right answer if we are ever asked about it.
Because when someone asks us that question, we can tell them:
There is no YOUR truth,
There is no MY truth
But – let me introduce you to THE Truth.
☆ Jesus said to him, “I am the way, and THE TRUTH, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me.

Jesus prayed to Our Father In Heaven, asking God to transform us, and lead us to live in HIS truth.
☆ Sanctify them in the truth; Your Word is truth
