Which is it?

 

Because it can only be 1 of those 2.

Because it is obvious that the nature of refusing to keep listening to the Wisdom of God, is not a new behavior issue.

 

So, let’s look at that;

 

 

How could it ever be that a person ‘can’t’ hear the Word, or instructions that lead to knowledge?

Unless a gun is up against their head, it really can only come down to they have never heard about God or The Word, or if they did, they were told in a lousy way (which happens way to often) or did not understand it at all.

 

   ☆ So faith comes from hearing, and hearing through THE WORD of Christ.

   • Romans 10:17

 

Let’s be clear, ALL will be judged at the end times, as Paul states in Romans 2, as the Law of God is written on all of our hearts and could make us ‘doers’ of the Word.

Yet, if the person has never heard the Truth, then they can not walk in the truth, to even be able to ‘cease’ listening to those truthful instructions.

 

So, that is a person who ‘COULD NOT’

 

Think of this…how many people do you know who ‘won’t’ listen to The Word?

What would the reasons be for that?

We know;

• Fear

• Selfishness

• Pride

 

All based on self.

How many times have you heard it?

“I am not going to give up on having the (perceived) control and power over my life, and just turn it over to some ‘guy in the sky’ that I don’t know if it even exists?”

 

That is usually just a good cover for ‘I want to live, how I want to live.’

 

   ☆ And he said to all, “If anyone would come after me, let him deny himself and take up his cross daily and follow me.

This is a person who ‘WOULD NOT’

Denying self has been a real problem since the day of the Apple.

Most in this world do NOT want to give up (what they believe is) control.

So, they don’t.

God will let that happen…for a time.

But their time is coming to an end very VERY soon.

God has plans for that too;

 

   ☆ Since they thought it was foolish to acknowledge God, he abandoned them to their foolish thinking and let them do things that should never be done.
