From today’s reading, I am reminded of that old and famous saying; Let Go, Let God.
There is that nasty word
‘LET’
again.
‘LET’ in this instance, is a Verb.
It is an action word.
For men like us, it can be a very difficult word to exercise.
• To stop our will,
– then to be still,
– so God can instill
– HIS perfect will
to manifest within us.
Because men live to ‘fix’
Because men love to ‘Solve’
Because men like to be ‘In Control’.
We hate to feel powerless.
‘Letting’ God take control, is probably the best example of man’s more sincere form of
~ SELF-CONTROL ~
So, thank you Lord for helping us to ‘LET’ all we are,
to be still and be quiet before Him,
so HIS hope can fill us.
