Do you know who my father is?

I heard that a lot when I was a kid. You see, I was a kid that got in trouble a lot, and I hung out with other kids who got in trouble a lot too, and some of those troubled kids came from homes with
Rich, Powerful Parents.

When we got stopped by cops, (Which happened too often) I often heard;
“DO YOU KNOW WHO MY FATHER IS?”

That is what this scripture says to us today.
It reminds us who our Dad really is,
and it tells us that we don’t need to be concerned – at all – with the fight that the enemy wants to have with us.

Even though the devil has a strategy, weapons and regularly tries to attack us…
We can rest easy in HIM, our Father, who has promised us, HE will do the fighting for us!

☆ You shall not fear them, for it is the Lord your God who fights for you.
• Dueteronomy 3:22

But we also must remember, WE have a BIG part to play in this as well.

Yes,
We have to put on our ‘Armor of God’
• The Belt of Truth
• The Breastplate of Righteousness
• The Gospel of Peace
• The Shield of Faith
• The Helmet of Salvation
• The Sword of the Spirit.

We need to be ready for the battle, for when we do that, we are prepared, trained, and educated to be aware of – and equipped for – the times, the ways and the reasons for the battles that the prince of lies brings on us.
But even more…
We will have the power to;

‘JUST SAY NO!’

☆ Resist the devil, and he will flee from you.
• James 4:7

We will be able to refuse to listen to the false whispers, we can quickly put up a wall of faith against Satan, and that will make us strong enough to immediately call on God to rebuke him and make him run the other way!

Because that is NOT OUR BATTLE!

Be careful to think that our battle is only with the spirit of the devil…because satan may not come at us directly, but maybe through others.

The battle may look different, but the rules of engagement are the same.

This war is the same today, as it was when it started, so our tools to defeat it, will stay the same also…GOD.

☆ What then shall we say to these things? If God is for us, who can be against us?
• Romans 8:31

So no matter how it comes at us, we can be at peace, knowing God not only has our backs, but He also has our fronts too!

I love you guys
