Are you privileged?

We’ve heard much about Privilege lately, but usually it’s based on race.
What if your privilege was based on ‘FAITH’?

Do you believe you could have ‘Christian Privilege’?

Most Christians will tell you that their life did not get easier when they accepted Christ.
They never felt that they had received a privilege.

Maybe their life became even tougher.
(i.e.
– Stopping old behaviors and thoughts,
– Beginning new behaviors and thoughts.
– Messing up a lot in staying true to those new behaviors and thoughts.)

As a matter of fact, I believe that God may make it that way on purpose because, right after the verse in this meme, it states:
☆ Not only that, but we rejoice in our sufferings, knowing that suffering produces endurance
• Romans 5:3

So, not only do our lives NOT get easier live, but maybe God wants it to become more of a challenge for us.

Which is exactly why God gave us
Christian Privilege.

Because that, my brother, is what we usually call;
‘GRACE’

We receive grace during these tough, growing, learning times as a way for us to endure those challenges.
Because, continuing on in this passage;
☆ Suffering produces endurance and

• Endurance produces Character, and
• Character produces Hope, and

Hope does not put us to shame.
• Romans 5:4-5

So, to be clear, as the NLT version is telling us;
Our ‘Christian Privilege’
Is the ability to have
Emmanuel (God with us)
Provide us with HIS GRACE to guide us through the trials that will produce the man of character we want to be, who will be able to live in the eternal hope of God that we need to share.

So, go ahead, ask me: Are you privileged?

Because the answer is; Yes, By God!

I love you guys!
